We are preparing for Hurricane Season, which starts on June 1st. Emergency kits and evacuation plans, etc.
While I (Michelle) have been recovering from the heart and thyroid problems. We've been able to stay pretty busy and make a few home visits each week and teach our marriage class.
We are consistently working in with our families on activity and both spouses going to church. It is so strange for us to see parents come to church and leave all their children at home, or they bring one of their four children. Hopefully we can help them understand the importance of going to church each week as an entire family. It would be understandable if is someone was sick, but the excuses they use are usually that they have to get ready for school on Monday. WIth summer here and the kids all out of school it will be different for the parents and hopefully they will bring ALL of their children to church.
We do have a couple of families that we are hoping will be able to go to the temple in the next few months.
