It has been another very busy week in New Orleans. The weather continues to be very hot, humid and volatile. We each have commented on the extreme weather here. Thunderstorms everyday this last week, with lots and lots of lightening and rain. We have ventured out in it a few times and both agree that raincoats and golf umbrellas just don't do the job on the horizontal rain. The word "rain" doesn't quite convey the amount of water that is coming at you! Think of a shower coming at you from above and both sides.
We have grown to love the members in the ward and especially all of the couples we have been working with so closely. We have 13 months left on our mission and we've already started to fret about how hard it will be to leave these people.
We love the Lord and love serving together. It's the best!!!
