Woosh! This week has gone by faster than ever. It seems that the second half of our mission is speeding by. The work is moving forward and we've had some wonderful experiences this week.

We went to the Baton Rouge Temple on Saturday with two of our recent converts - Jenni Wolfe (left) and Glen Dugae (right). They each were going for their own endowments. It was so nice to be in the Temple with so many people from our ward. The Temple workers had to bring in extra chairs to accommodate us all.
Right afterward we drove back to New Orleans for a baptism. We were able to make it for the second half of the baptism and the reception afterwards.
Sunday morning we were sustained as the ward Activity Committee Chairs. We are really excited about this and hoping that this will also help us in our missionary (Bring a Friend) work.

We met the cutest couple visiting from Wisconsin with their newly adopted twin girls. We invited them over for lunch and had a fun visit with them. Their daughters names are Hope and Miracle. Yeah, we really like the names too. Putting extra chicken in the crock pot worked great. They have been living in a hotel for a week.

As we were leaving Church, Sandra and her husband arrived with their little boy for the Spanish ward. It's great to see them making the commitment to be at Church and trying to do what is right. We saw Sandra's mom at the Temple doing Baptisms for the Dead on Saturday, 2 weeks after she was baptized.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. We know it, we love it, we live it. If you don't ask us and we'll be happy to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with you or send missionaries to you.
