Nawlin's News

This has been a very fun week.

We have enjoyed having Elder and Sister Anderson (the new Spanish Senior Couple) move into our apartment complex. They are wonderful and the members of the Spanish ward are responding to them well. We are so excited for the great work they are already doing with the Spanish members.

We went to the Mission Home on Friday. We took a full carload of senior missionaries and everyone had a great time. Our Mission President and his wife made everyone feel so welcome in their home.

On Saturday night we had another opportunity to see the Mission President in action. He spoke at a Fireside about "Spiritual Gumbo" - Diversity. One of the things that he said that stuck with me is:
"It's not all about us, it's all about those around us." I love that quote. It is so perfect for all of us to use in our everyday lives. To think of others first and be kind to everyone around us.

We are under our first Tropical Storm Warning tonight. To track Tropical Storm Eduardo go to http://www.nhc.noaa.gov
