Today we went to the Baton Rouge Temple and we were sealed for time and all eternity. What a beautiful day in Louisiana. Blue skies and a light breeze, we couldn't have asked for anything more. The Baton Rouge Temple is beautiful although the pictures don't really do it justice. The temple is built in a similar floor plan to the Newport Beach Temple, so we were able to find our way around pretty well. The outside is stunning. It is built using white marble, with grey streaks in it. All around the temple it is shiny, like someone used a whole bottle of Windex to polish it right before we got there. Needless to say, it was a beautiful day and we were able to have our Bishop and his wife go with us. It was great to get to know them better and then have a fun lunch with them.
It was very special for both of us and we are so happy to know that we will be together forever.

We were bummed to not be able to be there to share the day with you. We'll have to do a family session in the temple when you get back and celebrate everyone's temple sealings.
