Audubon Zoo

So this week we took a long needed preparation day and spent the afternoon at the Audubon Zoo. We had a blast!  The weather was great - a mere 71 degrees and gorgeous. Don took over three hundred pictures of the animals. It was a lot of fun, especially since the zoo was practically empty. Many young mother's with toddlers, so we took advantage of the quiet time.  

Michelle's favorites are the monkeys, so we watched a lot of monkeys, apes, chimpanzees, and the gorillas.

We have since learned that there are two really great places to take kids in New Orleans.  One is the Aquarium that we went to in November and the other is the Zoo.  So when you visit New Orleans we'd love to go with you.
