Ideas Please . . .

IDEA REQUEST #1:
We have a project that we are asking for ideas on. We are asking everyone for ideas of ways that the missionaries can show love for non-members. We hope you will send us your ideas. We've had a lot of people suggest child care or similar things, but missionaries are not allowed to babysit, pick up or hold children. So if you have any other types of ideas please let us know.

IDEA REQUEST #2:
We are also looking for different ways of doing inexpensive "Secret Santa" or "12 Days of Christmas". We would like to share these ideas with our Zone.

Our Zone Leaders had an idea a couple of weeks ago and the other Elders have wanted to follow in their footsteps. So this past week we made display boards for our missionaries. They have been asking and begging for them and we finally had the time and did it. They are like the science project boards that we used in school, only they display the DVDs that are available for the missionaries to give to investigators. We even created a how to instruction sheet to go on the back with a picture of the display.

The New Member Meeting/Lesson was great this week. The Stake President, President Conlin gave the lesson on the Laws and Ordinances of the Gospel. It included information on the Temple and Temple Marriage. President Conlin speaks Spanish and is very well respected by the Hispanics, so it went well. We were under a "Tornado Watch" and had a VERY loud clap of thunder during his presentation. Everyone laughed, so we hope it was perfect timing.
